Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Our templates and tools are drafting aids — they help you write paperwork faster. They are not legal, financial, estimating, contractual or work-health-and-safety advice, and AI-generated output can be wrong. You review everything, you decide what to send and sign, and responsibility for documents you use in your business stays with you. If the toolkit isn't for you, there's a 30-day refund.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Site Office AI ("we", "us"), operated from New South Wales, Australia (business details available on request). By using this website, its free tools, or purchasing and using the Site Office AI Toolkit ("the Toolkit"), you accept these terms. If you're using the site or Toolkit on behalf of a business, you accept them on that business's behalf and confirm you're authorised to do so.
2. What we provide — and what we don't
We provide document templates, prompt frameworks, examples, guides and browser-based tools designed to help tradespeople and contractors draft business paperwork more efficiently ("the Materials"). The Materials are general in nature and are provided for informational and drafting-assistance purposes only.
The Materials are not, and must not be relied on as: legal advice, contractual advice, financial or accounting advice, quantity surveying or estimating advice, work health and safety advice, or advice about your rights or obligations under any legislation, including security of payment legislation in any state or territory. We are not lawyers, accountants, quantity surveyors or safety professionals, and no client, adviser or professional relationship of any kind is created by your use of the Materials.
Documents that matter to your business — contracts, claims, safety documents, tenders — may need review by a qualified professional before use. Industry associations (such as MBA or HIA), construction lawyers and safety consultants exist for exactly this purpose, and nothing in the Materials replaces them.
3. AI-generated output is yours to check
The Materials are designed to be used with third-party artificial intelligence services (such as ChatGPT or Claude) operated by companies unrelated to us. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI services can and do produce output that is incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or simply wrong — including invented figures, incorrect legal references, and unsuitable wording;
- we do not operate, control, or guarantee any third-party AI service, its availability, its output, or its terms;
- every document produced with the help of the Materials must be reviewed, corrected and approved by you before it is sent, signed, submitted or relied on in any way;
- the decision to use any document, and every consequence of that use — commercial, contractual, legal, safety-related or otherwise — is yours alone; and
- your use of any third-party AI service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy, and you are responsible for complying with them, including any restrictions on the information you submit.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for: the accuracy of all information you enter into any tool or prompt; ensuring documents you produce comply with the laws, regulations, licensing requirements and contractual obligations that apply to you and your trade in your state or territory; obtaining professional advice where appropriate; and the outcome of any commercial dealing in which you use a document produced with the Materials. Safe Work Method Statements and other safety documents in particular must be reviewed against the actual site, task and applicable WHS requirements by a person competent to do so before any work is performed.
5. Licence to use the Toolkit
When you purchase the Toolkit, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Materials within your own business, permanently. You may adapt the templates for your own jobs and clients as much as you like. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, share access to, or repackage the Materials (in original or adapted form) as a product, course, or service for others, whether paid or free. All intellectual property in the Materials remains ours.
6. Refunds
We offer a 30-day refund on the Toolkit from the date of purchase — email us and we'll process it without forms or argument. This sits alongside, and does not limit, any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, the free tools and the Materials are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Materials will meet your requirements, produce any particular commercial result, be error-free, or that any document produced using them will be effective, enforceable, compliant or suitable for any purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability to you or any third party for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the website, the free tools, the Materials, any AI-generated output, or any document produced or decision made using any of them — including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of contracts or opportunities, unpaid claims or invoices, contractual disputes, adjudication or litigation outcomes, regulatory penalties, workplace incidents, and any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, and to the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us for the Toolkit in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you have paid us nothing, to AUD $49); and where permitted, our liability for goods or services is limited, at our option, to resupplying them or paying the cost of resupply.
Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; the limitations above apply only to the extent the law permits.
9. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from any third party in connection with documents you produce and use, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right in using the Materials — except to the extent caused by our own fraud or wilful misconduct.
10. Third-party links and services
The website may reference or link to third-party services (AI providers, payment platforms, industry bodies). We're not responsible for their content, availability, terms or conduct, and a reference is not an endorsement.
11. Changes
We may update the Materials, the free tools, and these terms from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page; your continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. Toolkit purchasers keep access to the Toolkit as updated — updates never take away what you bought.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest continue in force. Our failure to enforce a term isn't a waiver of it.
Questions about these terms: contact us via the address on this site.
